〈趣旨〉
本シンポジウムの目的は、人類が食を操作してきた営みを文明論的な視点から批判的に検討し、文明社会を支えてきた食料の生産の将来におけるありかたを見直そうとするものです。このために、生態環境から得られる食料資源を通時的視点も含め考え、人間と食べものとの関係を文化的、社会的観点から考察し、食べものを通した個人間、集団間の関係を探究し、国家と集団、個人の関係を論じることにより、当初の問題意識を段階的にくみあげていくことをねらいとしています。
